OXO has come up with a great feature on their new Good Grips Touch Can^TM  Trash Cans.  By just touching the panel on the top of the trash can, the lid will automatically open and then stay open until you touch the panel again. This way you don’t have to worry about having to try and juggle your garbage so you’ll have a free hand to lift off and hold a lid while you put your trash inside.












Also, because of the narrow, rectangular footprint of the garbage can it’s easy to find a convenient place to keep it, whether in the corner, against a wall or basically anywhere.  The opening is made wider than the base. This makes the OXO Good Grips trash cans a great choice for optimizing space.  There are large handles on each side of the trash cans to make them very easy to move and because they come with a non-slip base, you won’t have to worry about scratching your floors.

OXO uses their Unique Bag Clips^TM which are designed to hold the garbage bag from falling inside the can so you’ll never have to worry about tying the bag in place, and this way the garbage bag edge is hidden from view for aesthetic reasons.

OXO also has their regular Good Grips trash cans, which come with all the same features as the Touch Cans^TM, but use a foot pedal and a motion control device which guarantees that the lid will open and close smoothly and silently, instead of the touch panel on the lid.
